I've wanted to play around with plant sensing for a while and your code was invaluable in getting me started.
I'm working on an installation where I would like to use readings from five trees as an input for a projection. I have a few questions:
What is the general principle on which the electrodes work, ie. what does the plant respond to?
How is the length of the cable affecting the readings? Can I have 5m long cables and still get reasonable readings?
Any tips for attaching the electrodes to trees? Would it work on bark or should I carve out a little patch in it so the electrode lays flat?
Are there any special instructions for connecting multiple electrodes to one Arduino?
The questions a tad bit general so I'll be happy for any pointers, tips, links to steer my research in the right direction are welcome, no need for overly-long elaboration.
(as an inspiration, here is a little site that I've put up last year loosely related to plant-art: https://cyberbiomes.org/)

@robbiebarrat thank you for putting up the repo! 🙏🏼
