Probably, this is not a good candidate task to be implemented in Simulink as therein we assume that we already receive the elaborated position.
Nonetheless, we should integrate somehow (maybe in the hand-coded FW) what done by @ale-git in https://github.com/robotology/icub-firmware/blob/master/emBODY/eBcode/arch-dspic/board/2foc/appl/2FOC-V3/src/qep.c#L150-L198.
