It's always good to have a nice overview of the project on the front page. This is usually done via the README and its badges. The most famous service for that is the shield. You can do that manually, but this time we will try an automation.
It looks like GitHub actions are not yet supported by badge-it action. We can certainly use it for the rest of the badges we care about, like license, dependencies or issues/PRs/starts count.

I would vote for using badge-it with whatever it supports for now. In the meantime, we could open an issue to their repository requesting a badge for the GH action.
