@ronbee: I am hoping that you see this and that you might be open to letting me take over the lite gem name on RubyGems? I am working actively at the intersection of SQLite and Ruby, and I'd love to be able to use this name. Just to demonstrate how deeply I care about and have worked in this area, here is an overview of recent work:
