Ruby 2.0 was released in February 2013 and 2.1 was released in December 2013.
Because the current gems used for testing and development of Roo are dependent on gems that require Ruby > 2.2, it is starting to make development/testing more difficult.
PRs are getting rejected by Travis CI simply because indirect dependencies require gems that require Ruby 2.2.
For Roo 3.0, I'm strongly considering dropping support for Ruby 2.0 or 2.1. Users that use those ruby versions should use the 2.4.x version of Roo.
