For the Schema Extension Record Frame, my understanding is that field and column IDs continue. Maybe make this explicit in the spec?
... but how should a reader order alias columns? "alias columns have larger IDs than physical columns", but I believe the order is physical columns (header), alias columns (header), physical columns (footer), alias columns (footer)
