Hi I just installed Adam ICS Beta 5 and after that swipe to Unlock after boot is not working.

I installed CM9-ADAM-BETA-AIO Package as per instruction, after that I installed CM9-BETA5 as per instruction and after reboot it is stuck forewer on unlock screen, I swipe lock button to unlock and nothing happens. I tried this many times but still not working.

On a recent AOKP rom I found that I had to swipe the "center" icon quickly to the "unlock" icon - else the "center" icon bounced back. Try that.

Or swipe the "center" icon to the "camera" icon. Beta5 will tell you the camera app failed -- but by that time you will be unlocked.

I'm experience the same thing. Beta4-ish works fine; when I update (after wiping everything) to beta5 I get this.

OK; I did some detective work, and discovered this:
The problem occurs on:

  • beta5 flashed onto whatever the hell I had on there before (alpha I think), after a factory reset
  • beta5 flashed on top of cm9-adam-beta-aio (factory reset)
  • beta5 flashed on top of beta4-ish flashed on top of cm9-adam-beta-aio (factory resets all the way)

Here's what worked:

  • Get to beta4ish somehow (via beta-aio or other route). I flashed gapps too; not sure if this makes a difference or not.
  • Boot into beta4ish, then use it. I signed in, and that's about all
  • Boot to recovery and flash beta5 without factory reset
  • No more problem!

FWIW; I tried a (CWM) factory reset after getting beta5 working, and this issue appeared again. On the other hand, I tried a factory reset through android settings, and it worked fine.
