The link in the chapter 8 preface to the documentation of the standard library seems to be broken. Doesn't matter much to a print edition of the book, but still...

This is intentional, if unfortunate. We want the book to be able to work offline as well as from doc.rust-lang.org, see the explanation here. The workaround is to read from nightly instead.

Sorry about that, and thanks for the report anyway!
