Communication channels

I just stumbled upon the current situation of the winapi crate. In the process of seeking to understand how I could become more informed and what we as a community could do to help, I could not see a place other than this issue tracker to communicate.

Are there any other established communication channels where one could talk more freely about these matters? Perhaps setting up a channel on the official Rust Discord server would be nice.

Currently there is a channel on the Rust Community Discord Server for window development stuff.

The #windows-dev channel on the community rust discord is currently the only place other than this github organization. In the future if this WG gains more official status we may gain other communication channels.
