Yeap, CLDR is now available at https://github.com/unicode-cldr/ after http://cldr.unicode.org/development/development-process/design-proposals/json-packaging.

cldr-data can be used for convenience. It always downloads from the correct source:

Pull requests are welcome if you want to help updating documentation section about it.

What about non npm/bower/requirejs/AMD users?
Is there any plain js solution?
