If the menu items in the Rectangle Pro menu bar menu are greyed out, this means that Rectangle Pro is unable to acquire accessibility information for the frontmost window. The accessibility information is necessary to determine where the window currently is, and for moving and resizing it.
If the menu items are greyed out regardless of which app is frontmost, it is typically caused by the accessibility permissions becoming out of sync within macOS. To fix that, you can do the following:
Quit Rectangle Pro
In System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Accessibility, first disable Rectangle Pro, then remove it using the minus button.
Relaunch Rectangle Pro and re-enable the accessibility permissions as prompted.
Or, if you're handy with the Terminal:
killall "Rectangle Pro"
tccutil reset All com.knollsoft.Hookshot
open -a "Rectangle Pro"
If it only happens for certain applications, this means that the frontmost application is not responding to the accessibility API. It can typically be resolved by restarting the frontmost application. This is most commonly seen with Microsoft applications, Chrome/Electron based applications, and cross-platform applications.
