I don't know on Android, but on iOS, when a track is being played, on the control center should appear the title of the track, the album and the artist (and the album art, of course).
For example, when Spotify plays a song, on the iOS control center appears the title of the track and the album, separated with a long dash, and the artist below.
This is what I mean:

Instead of
7 rings

@lain-ke This is my 6th time asking you in as many issues, but please do not delete the issue template. Please fill in the requested information. It is part of doing due diligence so that you file a well thought-out feature request, including checking that the feature does not already exist, and also including different alternatives in your proposal.
This feature does already exist (AudioServiceBackground.setMediaItem) so I will close this issue.
Based on the 6 issues you have posted so far, it is clear that your time would be better spent reading the documentation. If you find anything confusing in the documentation, make a documentation request. But when doing so, PLEASE do not delete the issue template. Leave the structure in place, and fill in the text below each subheading.
This issue has been automatically locked since there has not been any recent activity after it was closed. Please open a new issue for related bugs, or use StackOverflow if you need help with audio_service.
