Hi,

I have an issue with throttle making multiple queries. Sometimes in the hundreds.

Is this something to do with this package? I cannot find any info on it online.

Possibly so. I have pushed an update to the UserController in this package that eager loads the throttle data (now available in v2.9.1). If that doesn't fix the route in your screenshot, you may need to manually add eager loading in whatever controller you are using there.
