HLSyn articulatory speech synthesizer

These files allow you to run the HLSyn articulatory speech synthesizer program (Windows only).

Usage instructions: copy the directory to your computer and run 'hlsyn.exe'

Example usage with TADA (Task Dynamics Application)

Import .HL parameter files generated by TADA into HLSyn and create acoustic synthesis; e.g.

  • File > Import > HL parameters [select .HL file generated by TADA]
  • Synthesize
  • Play
  • File > Export > Waveform [exports WAV file of synthesised speech]
