Exporters User Interface

Create and Export: create the exporter and run the export.
Create: create the exporter but do not run the export at this time.

This page details information about existing importers. Per row there are 5 clickable options:

Name (required): A free-text name for the Export
Type of Export (required):
- Metadata Only:
- Metadata and Files
Export From (required):
- Importer
  - A drop down will appear where you can select an existing importer
- Collection
  - A drop down will appear where you can type in the name of a collection. It works best if you type in at least the entire first word
- Work Type
  - A drop down will appear where you can select an existing work type
- All
  - Export all works, file sets and collections, along with their metadata, for that tenant
Limit: If a number is provided, only that number of items are exported. This can be used to perform a small test export prior to a full import. If the value is 0 or blank, all items are exported.
Include Generated Metadata?: This is not available for Bagit exporting. More info can be found here.
Include Thumbnails?: Include thumbnail in the export
Visibility: Filter the exported works by visibility if you'd like
Status: Filter the exported works by status if you'd like
Export Format (required):
- CSV
- Bagit

Two options are presented:

Choose 'edit' to update an existing Exporter. Fields in the importer form will be presented with the previous data and can be updated.

Update Exporter: Only update the values in the exporter form. Do not create a new csv.
Update and Re-Export All Items: Update the values in the exporter form and create a new csv based on the updated values.
