Once #310 and #311 are resolved, we need some kind of automated benchmarking system to run the benchmarks on a regularly scheduled interval to help alert us of performance regressions/improvements as soon as they happen. Ideally this would also run on pull requests, but I'm not sure how hard that is to set up.
