It doesn't care who's java you use. it just needs Java to use the IOM access method. Did you try it and see that it worked? Sorry, I just got back from vacation today and didn't see this until now. |

I am trying to configure saspy on Windows in order to use the R sasquatch package in Quarto. The requirements for saspy say I need a version of Java in order to use the IOM method to call SAS 9.4 on my workstation, and I'm wondering if OpenJDK will work as a substitute.
"To use the integrated object method (IOM) access method (one of four connection methods) requires Java 7 or higher on the client."
