In GpgFrontend version 2.1.4, the "Encrypt Sign" and "Decrypt Verify" buttons were conveniently located on the toolbar. However, in the latest version, these functionalities have been moved exclusively to the "Crypt" menu, reducing usability for quick access:

Previous Behavior:

"Encrypt Sign" and "Decrypt Verify" buttons were directly accessible from the toolbar.

Current Behavior:

These actions are now only available through the "Crypt" menu item, making the process less intuitive for users accustomed to the toolbar access.

Requested Changes:

1. Default Toolbar Buttons:

Reinstate the "Encrypt Sign" and "Decrypt Verify" buttons on the toolbar by default for immediate access.

2. Toolbar Customization:

If adding these buttons by default is not feasible, please consider enhancing the toolbar's customization options. Users should be able to add or remove buttons according to their preferences, allowing for a tailored user interface.

Impact:

The removal of these buttons from the toolbar has notably decreased efficiency for users who frequently perform these actions, impacting the overall user experience negatively.

Suggested Implementation:

Add a configuration option in settings or via a context menu on the toolbar itself where users can choose which buttons are displayed.
Ensure that this customization persists across sessions and across devices on portable version.

Additional Information:

GpgFrontend Version: 2.1.4 (where the buttons were present) vs. Current Version: 2.1.6 (where they are not)
Operating System: Debian 12 & Windows 11

Thank you for considering this feature request to either restore the previous functionality or enhance user customization options.

Best regards,
