Error with the domain portion on a email address

In my project I'm using jquery-ajaxchimp in spanish but I have a problem with this validation: "The domain portion of the email address is invalid (the portion after the @: gmail)".

When I put "emailUser@" the message appears in spanish

but if I put "emailUser@gmail" the message appears in english:

I don't know how to fix it. Someone could help me.
