  • add a validate instruction which can check the type of a value
  • Type relations should be * -> Boolean
  • Add test cases to libcasm-ir itself, since this a IR only feature

What kind of validation? More like isA? Or e.g. number range checking?

Yes indeed, it's an old issue from https://github.com/casm-lang/libcasm-ir/issues/4
I'll close the issue tracker in the IR any moment 😉
