Ugly colors in IPython using solarized theme #200

Using IPython I obviously get the wrong colors (using Emacs 24.5.1 on Ubuntu 16.04)

But this is not the case when using other themes like "Material" where the colors between IPython and a script roughly match

What can I do? Is it just me or do others have the same issue?
