It would be nice to have support for check dependencies as described here: http://sensuapp.org/docs/0.12/checks.

Right now you should be able to do this with the custom attribute, but it likely should be a 1st class citizen. I'll leave this open though to work on when I get some more time (unless of course you'd like to throw up a PR :) )
