This is a Feature Proposal

Description

Python 3.8 is the latest python version that is supported by this package. Unfortunately python 3.8 is end of life this october and azure is also dropping the python 3.8 runtime. So we should support python 3.10 and above to make sure this package is still usable for python functions.
