High CPU usage when using Minimap #83

Whenever I open the minimap, cpu usage goes form 0.3-0.4% to 33-34% (unix, so of one core)

System info:
macOS Big Sur 11.2.1
m1 macbook pro + 16gb of ram
system install of vim
iterm 2

Without minimap:

with minimap open:
