A problem is here,
if (std::string::npos != src.find(quote_unescape, 0)) { src = replace(src, quote_unescape, trim_quote_str); std::cout << src << "\4\n"; }
If quote_unescape is "" then it will always match leading to an infinity loop in replace.

can be solved simply with:
if (!quote_unescape.empty() && std::string::npos != src.find(quote_unescape, 0)) //unescape quote { src = replace(src, quote_unescape, trim_quote_str); }
