The API is inaccessible from other websites due to misconfigured CORS

I'm trying to fix up the following plugin to work with Vesktop: https://github.com/shigandco/vencord-plugins, but I'm unable to access the API from discord. The response header from the API should include a "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header from what I can tell, otherwise it's impossible to access the API from outside the website itself, at least on most browsers
