I'm open to it, but I won't be working on any new components at least until 2.0 stable ships. For anyone interested in taking a stab at it, this will probably require some magic to work like what you see in button group's code. |

In Shoelace v1-beta there was a component - or more accurately: a grouping option, to nicely place a
<button>
right next to<input>
fields:I was looking for this in Shoelace v2-beta, but found out this is no longer available; despite the
<sl-input>
having generally become more "rich" (prefix slot, suffix slot, etc.). Just using the sl-input + sl-button to make something similiar with v2, it does not look that nice (particularly due to the rounded corners that don't add up):Now I'm wondering if it would be realistic to offer something like the
input-group
again in Shoelace v2 – or if this is out-of-scope to offer for a certain reason (and had to be stitched together individually)? A "button-slot" on thesl-input
would be great :)Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
