These are detailed information about each available machine. DO NOT put passwords, keypair locations or other sensitive information on these pages - they are public!
- General usage machines (between 48-56GB RAM, 8 cores):
- MSc students' machines: (256GB, 24 cores)
- Fatnodes (ATTA1 / ATTA2):
The standalone 'Linux/MSc' workstations have moved to the air-conditioned computer room in the Jodrell (aka 'The Mac room'), and will probably remain there for the forseeable future. Notes:
- Haemodorum and Pandanus stay headless
- Haemodorum and Pandanus currently are turned off and offline. They are pending a hub for internet connection
- Arisaema and Tuber share one screen (You can switch the screen by clicking the select button)
- Arisaema is left of the screen, connected with DisplayPort;
- Tuber is on the right of the screen (on the floor), connected with DVI-D.
- Senecio and Equisetum have not been moved yet (2017-05-16) but will soon when existing jobs finish.
- Trichopilia will share screen with Equisetum once the later has moved:
- Trichopilia is left of the screen, connected with VGA;
- Equisetum will be right of the screen, connected with DisplayPort
