What happened?

Both icons are 24 px size:

but for the X there are 4 px "border":

and for the skip are 6 px "border":

PS: i know there is a "close-small" icon available, but it does not work quite well in my case. I want to use it for a progress visualization:

Hi @katjaKoppensteiner,
for icon design the "perceived" size is more important than the measurable extend of the actual icon shape. But in your example it is right, also the perceived size looks too small compared to the other 2 icons.
The reason might be that this "skip" icon is designed to be used together with the other player control icons.

As most of the player control icons come from the Siemens brand team it could take a bit longer to change. And before starting the process I just want to make sure, is "skip" really the meaning you want to communicate in your usecase?
