New feature or functionality
We currently pass all inputs to a workflow step as environment variables. Some of them like the sandbox name and forked workloads are already present in the sandbox spec but not easily available either as environment variables or as an API to access the sandbox spec. We currently workaround this by specifying these values as inputs.
