Bug description

NO INVITE on this latest version.

Steps to reproduce

  1. step one
Desktop version in Settings and the 3 Dots on the upper Right.... LOOKED for "INVITE NEW Friends..... it is NOT there anywhere.
IT shows up in Android version, but I don't use the Android version for typing..... and don't need the rest of the steps.
  2. step two
  3. step three

Actual result:

Expected result:

GO to Desktop version in Settings on Taskbar, upper right.... and no INVITE under FILE / EDIT / VIEW / WINDOWS / HELP ,
or go to the 3 DOTS on the upper Right....
LOOKED for "INVITE NEW Friends."
should be THERE!

How is signal-desktop supposed to communicate with non-existing users?

@scottnonnenberg-signal scottnonnenberg-signal changed the title NO choice to INVITE new Friends in latest (updated) Desktop version [Feature Request] Invite user to Signal Jun 12, 2018

@infowarz I don't believe that Signal Desktop ever had the ability to invite a user. Certainly the mobile apps do. So I'm moving this to a feature request.
