Bug Description

When Signal is started with --start-in-tray, the splash screen should not be shown

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run signal-desktop --start-in-tray

Actual Result:

A splash screen ("optimizing application") is shown in foreground.

Expected Result:

No splash screen should be shown. It is unnecessary and distracting.

Signal Version: v1.33.0

Operating System: Ubuntu eoan

Linked Device Version: 4.58.5

I would rather call this a bug/regression, not a feature request. The "Optimizing application" splash screen was not shown in versions before 1.33 when using "--start-in-tray".

This no longer occurs in signal v1.37.2. This should be closed.
