[Feature request] Commands for easier gif, sticker, and emoji utilization #4603
Comments
Thanks. I've filed this as a feature request. 🖖🏼 |
Does the desktop app have any functionality for browsing gifs currently (not just commands)? I can see menus for this on Android but not desktop. Edit: Never mind, found #1862. So this feature request would also have to close that first too |

This is a feature request.
Please, please incorporate command-line-like functionality within the desktop application to make utilization of gif's, stickers, emoji's (etc.) easier.
Example:
/giphy dancing
should insert a dancing gif (or whatever gif platform we use in the near future)/sticker
should do the same/call signaluser1
initiates a call to signal user 1/ephemeral-20
sets ephemeral messages to 20 minutes on the chatSED spelling integrations like other platforms currently have in their chat clients
"helllo"
s/helllo/hello
auto fixes my message to hello.
