Bug Description

I've decided to block single users from a Signal group chat and no longer am able to see their posts. However, when anyone quotes a blocked user, I'm still able to see that quote

Steps to Reproduce

  1. block user A
  2. user A writes a message
  3. user B replies to user A's message

Actual Result:

I can read user A's message within user B's quote

Expected Result:

I'm not sure what the best result is, I think there are several possibilities:

  • exclude the quote from the reply. this message will not make sense to me, but there will be many other cases where the same is true (e.g. a normal conversation between blocked and non-blocked users
  • include a message that notifies the reader, that this is a quote from a blocked user (optional: show the message on click)
  • hide the reply

Personally I don't think the last option makes much sense, but others might disagree. Could be decided in the user preferences.
