Summary

Allow users to send view-once images via Signal Desktop.

iOS and Android users can send images which can be seen once as described in https://signal.org/blog/view-once/.
While the Desktop version can retrieve and show "view-once" images, it is not possible to send "view-once" images.

Adding this feature would increase the UX, as I can do the same things either on phone or desktop.

Platform Info

Signal Version:

Desktop - v.1.38.1

Operating System:

Windows 10

this would be very useful to have. Especially for screenshots and the such it is just annoying to have to go back and delete them manually if you dont want to spam the 'view recent media'.

Adding my voice to say this would be a very nice feature to have.

Bumping this, would be a valuable feature for the desktop client! Thanks 💌

Baffling to me that such a basic and core feature of Signal is not built in to the desktop version
