Signal loses Internet connection when Adgaurd VPN is on on windows

My Laptop is a Galaxy Book 2 pro 360 that runs Windows 11. when Adgaurd VPN is on and i wake my laptop from sleep by opening the lid and I go into signal says I lot connection so it tells me to reconnect it by pressing the popup but if that doesn't work then I have to turn off Adguard VPN then it reconnects then I turn on Adguard VPN then is seems to work fine. it just seems to happen when I put my laptop away and put it on sleep. does anyone else have this problem.

do attachments work after you've connected to the vpn?

#1632 has some workaround env variables you can use that help you connect to a proxy.
