We haven't actively worked on simpegviz since 2019, and PyVista is way ahead at this point! Any concerns with archiving this repo? I will leave this issue open for a week, and if there is no response, I will go ahead with archiving it.

My students use PyVista for visualization of their 3D models. It is a very handy and powerful tool. No need to reinvent the wheel. Better focus our energy on something else.
