This is an EEM form-factor high voltage floating HV supply dedicated to Gas Electron Multiplier detectors. Initial specification:

  • dual-channel, POS/NEG, POS/POS, NEG/NEG configurations possible. Both channels share a common terminal.
  • range +/- 100V/15mA up to +/-6kV 0.25mA per channel depending on assembly variant.
  • floating design, 10kV isolation
  • simple SPI interface + 4 GPIO over LVDS
  • interlock input, interlock output for external control/triggering, and forced sequencing
  • A/D and D/A based on MAX1329 codec
  • independent voltage and current limit setting
  • voltage and current readout
  • fast overcurrent protection
  • 3 SHV connectors for easy cascading
