Intro to Github

I am starting the intro to GitHub course, and I've done the first step: creating "my-first-branch" and at the end I have to refresh the instruction page after 20 seconds to get the next set of instructions. I do this, but when the page refreshes there are no new instructions, just the same first set of instructions. How do I continue with the intro course if I can't see the instructions?

Hi @UsamaGM,

I am not sure I understand your question. If you reached the Finished step, I believe it means you are done with the task and that you could move on to the next lesson.

Hello, guys! I had the same problem, the page didn't change after refreshing. I solved it deleting the whole repository and started creating the repository 'skills-introduction-to-github' again. You can delete the repository clicking on settings and scrolling down to the end at 'Danger Zone'.

You have good point here. I am new to GitHub and I was wondering about starting back from scratch.

My question is if I delete a repository, does it mean I can create a new one with the same name as the one I delete?

I tried to create the repository without deleting it and I found out that I couldn't. I also thought about changing it's name but I figured it wouldn't work because I am following an instruction that depends on tasks that follow steps.

I did exactly this: I deleted the repository and then created a new one with the same name. And it worked perfectly following the interactive course. I am new to Github too and I had bug like @SamWise619 had. I could solved it doing what I wrote in my first message.
