Quill 2.0 Safari IME new line on composition end

Since the update to Quill 2.0, when writing in Japanese IME on iOS Mac Safari, the editor adds a new line for each composition after pressing enter to commit.

Other browsers on iOS and Windows that were tested had no such problem.

Steps for Reproduction

1. Visit https://quilljs.com/playground/snow
2. Write with IME and commit the composition with Enter.

Expected behavior:
No new line, cursor/pointer should be behind the text.

Actual behavior:
A new line is added each time.

Platforms:
Mac Big Sur Version 11.7.10
Safari Version 16.6.1
