Reason/Context

This library purpose is exclusively providing a simple metrics library for AsyncAPI tooling.
I think AsyncAPI org should be interested in adopting it.

Description

• Create a community discussion to initiate the donation process at https://github.com/orgs/asyncapi/discussions
• If accepted, prepare the repository as needed and transfer ownership.

I would like to have a README in this repo prior to donating explaining the very very basics of what this library is and who uses it.
