Proscribed Usernames are not blocked #6

Prior to Solid implementing the blacklisted username list I had registered about 50 pods with usernames that are on the blacklist, should I surrender them or keep them? Or should the pod provider admin close them? |
@timbl may I ask why you changed the title? is the word proscribed to mean blacklisted, it’s a little ambiguous. https://www.npmjs.com/package/solid-server By default Solid will not allow certain usernames as they might cause confusion or allow vulnerabilies for social engineering. This list is configurable via config/usernames-blacklist.json. Solid does not blacklist profanities by default. |

Seeing as you implemented the username blacklist does that mean that those accounts that were established With some of the blacklisted usernames prior will be deleted? |
