Hello ARC Enthusiasts! 👋🏻
We hope this newsletter finds you well. As always, our dedicated team has been hard at work to bring you the latest updates and improvements for ARC. In this month’s newsletter, we’ll be sharing some exciting news and enhancements across all three branches: ARC API, ARC IaC, and ARC UI.
Let’s dive right into the updates!
🔧 ARC API
New OpenID Connect Service: We've expanded our service catalog with the inclusion of an OpenID Connect (OIDC) service for authentication. This means even greater flexibility and security for your applications. Empower your users to sign in with their preferred OIDC-supported identity providers, streamlining your app's user experience.
Introducing Archival Feature: To ensure the seamless management of data on your audit database, we're thrilled to announce the addition of an archival feature in the @sourceloop/audit-service. This allows you to conveniently archive logs to cloud storage and retrieve them as required, keeping your data lean and clean, without ever losing sight of your past logs.
Seamless Sequelize Integration in Audit and Cache: Embracing the versatility of Sequelize in ARC API based projects has never been easier! We've rolled out new versions of our audit and cache packages that allow the use of Sequelize without any additional configuration.
User Activity Insights: We're elevating your user management with the addition of a Login Activity Insights feature to our authentication service. Now, you can easily track user login activity and swiftly identify active users within a specific date range. This feature not only enriches your data analysis but also aids in making informed business decisions.
Sequelize Extension Improvements: With the latest improvements to the Sequelize extension, you can now use custom query support and directly forward options to Sequelize. This means you have more flexibility to use exclusive features of Sequelize right within your projects.

New Addition: New Terraform module for managing Cloudfront, S3, Route53 and ACM.
