It would be great to have a more detailed documentation on how to generate the Auth-Key in order to starting data transfers using the EDC-API:

Hi @tpaschke-esride,

there should be only one auth key required for calling Management API Endpoints, which would be the Management API Key. The Management API Key Value is set by setting the ENV Var EDC_API_AUTH_KEY. It should be passed in requests using the header x-api-key.

If it's regarding the HttpPull transfer method, then it is unfortunately not supported in our Community Edition EDC Connectors. That documentation is out of date.

thank you very much for getting back on this! It's about automation of data transfer via the {{connector-base-url}}/control/data/transferprocess endpoint in the SaaS hosting at "prod-sovity.azure.sovity.io"

Hope this is supported. Where would I find the EDC_API_AUTH_KEY in the SaaS deployment for my given account?

We need to distinguish two things:

• Open Source EDC uses an API key, which can be configured like above described by @richardtreier
• Our sovity CaaS supports OAuth2.0 login. Our customers can find a documentation on how to access the API here
