Description:
Currently, the app allows exporting data in JSON format. While this is useful for technical users, a CSV or Excel file would provide a more accessible and practical alternative for common users who want to analyze or share their expenses.
Use Case:
Users could export a CSV file with columns similar to those offered by Splitwise, including:

Date Description Category Cost Currency UserA UserB
Date Description Category Cost Currency UserA UserB

This format would make it easier for users to review expenses in tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, as well as create visual representations for data analysis.

Benefit:
This feature would:

  • Improve accessibility for non-technical users who may find JSON formats difficult to work with.
  • Provide a simple and effective way to analyze, present, or share expense data.
  • Enhance compatibility with widely used spreadsheet tools, making the app more appealing to a broader audience.
