Hey there π! My name is Ruben Boonen (@FuzzySec). I spend most of my professional working hours doing Red Team work for private and public institutions. My focus is less on hands-on-keyboard
activities than building and maintaining Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). A lot of that work is research based, spending time debugging and developing code for operational use.
Where possible I share that work with the wider InfoSec
community. Some examples of direct sharing are Dendrobate and StandIn. Sometimes I re-package smaller specific techniques into digestible tooling in projects like PowerShell-Suite and Sharp-Suite. Finally there is a set of tooling that I have created over time because it fills a gap in my own workflow. The most pertinent example of this is Fermion which is a fully featured cross-platform Electron wrapper for Frida.
I love to create the tooling that I myself would find useful and share that with the community. InfoSec
has a lot breadth and depth and I believe sharing your knowledge with others is critical, especially for new people starting out on their own journey.
A lot of this work, by necessity, happens in my free time so I would be deeply humbled if you would consider sponsoring me to maintain my stock of caffeine reserves πββοΈ!
