I am a physics researcher who believes that all publicly funded research should be freely available. That includes not just the published articles but the supporting materials (such as code) that go along with it. I also work on open source projects on the side. My current two main projects outside research are argparse, a C++11 header only command line parser, and uecs, a small C++11 entity component system.
