Hi! I'm Jana, an open source software developer who mainly works on the Rust compiler. I'm part of Rust's compiler team, which in practice means that I work on new features, help maintain the compiler and surrounding infrastructure, and that I'm a part of the regular compiler review rotation. For the past 4 years I've also been part of a small team of volunteers to organize RustWeek, one of the largest Rust conferences.

This is something I try to work full-time on: I've quit my job working for the TU Delft where I used to teach Rust in the Embedded Systems master program and am now self-employed, dedicating all my time to compiler development and trying to make a living from contracting work.
