I am a full-stack web applications developer living in the London borough of Walthamstow.
I work on the free and open-source publishing system Janeway by day and teach in Birkbeck's MA in digital media design programme by night.
I also find time to move forward few hobby projects. All sponsorship funds go toward these projects:
- a free and open source podcast engine to make the audio recordings of council meetings more accessible to journalists, policy stakeholders, and community members
- a LIDAR overlay for custom Google maps that visualizes elevation data so that cyclists who don't want to struggle up hills can avoid step inclines
This will let me scale up the council podcast project because I will be able to afford server space for audio recording storage and a moderate amount of visitor traffic every month
