Hi! I am Tzu-Chi. I live in Colorado 🌲🏔️. I do research and write software for a living.

You probably knew me by my research about networks, especially on the community detection in bipartite networks (bipartiteSBM) and on simpliciality testing in applied topology (simplicial-test). I try to write useful software while I do research.

Your support will allow me to focus on Regularized-SpringRank, which is a program for hierarchical ranking in pairwise comparisons. It features a specialized first-order solver for memory-efficient computations. And it can handle datasets that are erroneous, time-varying, or have node attributes.

Three is an interesting number when some computational problems become significantly harder. For example, 2-SAT can be solved in polynomial time, but 3-SAT is NP-complete.
